Bio-Rad Automated Econo System

The automated Econo system from the brand Bio-Rad is composed of a UV monitor, controller, pump, buffer selector and fraction collector and is ideal for chromatography applications.
The Econo gradient pump is a two-channel bi-directional pump that is ideal for preparative applications and for enhancing the purification of recombinant proteins (low-pressure chromatography).
The fraction collector of the carousel type is capable of collecting from 1 drop (~ 50 μL) to 9 mL fractions in 80 test tubes or micro tubes. The dosing amount in time can be controlled when connected to the Model EP-1 Econo pump, the BioLogic LP system or the BioLogic DuoFlow system.
The UV monitor is a dual wavelength detector for flow-through monitoring of chromatographic column effluents, centrifugation gradients and the like for liquid chromatography.
