Velatech Oven for Rolling Thin-Film Test

The oven of the brand Velatech is particularly suitable for the implementation of the Rolling Thin Film Test ASTM D-2872  test method.
This test method is intended to measure the effect of heat and air on the properties of a moving film of semi-solid asphaltic material.
The effects of this treatment are determined on the basis of measurements of the selected properties of the asphalt that have to be carried out before and after the test. In addition, this test method can also be used to determine the mass change of asphalt, which is a measure of the volatility of the asphalt.
