The Techne DB-2A Heater Block is sturdy made of aluminum and engineering plastic with all solid-state controls. Can hold up to 2 aluminum insert blocks or one 96-well plate block and the temperature setting is via a calibrated rotary knob. Efficient insulation keeps the housing cool even at maximum operating temperature and indicator lights indicate on/off, heating action and over-temperature warning.
