The total carbon analyzer with an OCT-1 sampler of Shimadzu type TOC-V CPH is able to measure the total amount of carbon (TC), amount of inorganic carbon (IC) and total amount of organic carbon (TOC) in water. By coupling this unit to a POC accessory the total amount of purgeable organic carbon (POC) in water can be determined. Finally, this device can determine the total amount of nitrogen (TN) in water when the TN unit is installed. For these measurements, the TOC analyzer uses the combustion catalytic oxidation and NDIR- method. Furthermore, this device will be supplied with PC and software.
