The Messer Apollo 50 Dewar nitrogen tank is a vacuum-insulated cryogenic storage/transport vessel for liquid nitrogen (and possibly other cryogenic gases). The Apollo 50 is the smallest standard version in the series, with a capacity of approximately 32 L. The tank is designed for mobile use: a stable frame with casters allows for easy transport. Includes a caster set and riser tube.
Technical specifications:
Maximum pressure: 1.3 bar
Package weight: approx. 85 kg
Evaporation/boiler rate: approx. 2.0% per day
Material: Stainless steel (stainless steel) – outer and inner tank
Vacuum insulation: Multiple insulation layers with vacuum chambers for low evaporation and a long shelf life of the cryogenic liquid.
Transport/mobility: Frame with casters (usually Ø 125 mm), transport protection, and a base – designed for easy movement. Applications: Storage and transport of liquid nitrogen (LN2), cryogenic freezing, use in cryomills, biobanks, laboratory storage, and handling cryogenic gases.
External dimensions (W x D x H): 550 x 550 x 850 mm
