The Köttermann 8591 Top-Mounted Fume Hood is a compact bench-style fume hood designed to safely extract chemical vapours, acids, volatile, or dusty chemicals while working at a laboratory bench.
It is designed for laboratories or pharmacies with limited space, where a large floor-standing fume hood isn’t suitable. The hood is chemically resistant, has a polyacrylate (plastic) front window, and offers features such as water and gas connections, drainage, and electrical outlets—allowing you to safely handle liquids and chemicals. The 8591 is suitable for use with volatile chemicals, acids, dust, or vapours. The hood features ventilation/exhaust and airflow monitoring to minimize exposure to harmful substances.
